There are certain moments in a person's life in which "hope" is not enough.

Then,  "I hope it happens" turns to "It has to happen."

Hope is great because it leads to that exciting split second where whatever you are hoping for MAY come true.  Or it could lead to that moment of disappointment.

The "it has to be" mentality puts the leverage back on your side, rather than in the hands of someone else.



There's still nothing wrong with hope.

When it comes to going to work, HOPE you dont hit traffic on the way there.
When it comes to your favorite hockey team, HOPE they win.
When it comes to grocery shopping, HOPE they have eggs on sale.


But when it comes to completing the mission, surviving the adventure, the dream becoming a reality...

Well, it has to be.
