It's always sad when you know someone that passes away, but when its sudden, that's when it really takes the wind out of you and makes you sick to your stomach.
And it can put some things into perspective. For example, on Saturday, I was losing my mind trying to fix a water pressure problem at my house. I thought it was the end of the world if I didn't fix it that night. Now, looking back at it, that was ridiculous.
It reiterates a few things that I have always wanted to live by:
-End everything in a way that leaves no room for regret.
-Never go to sleep if you have something you need to say to someone.
- Each year you blow the candles out, vow to make it count.
