strong words...

Years ago, Blockbuster and Giant Eagle decided to sell their entire VHS tape collection for an incredible discount to make it  DVD-only rental businesses.  This was paradise.  I remember purchasing up to 6 VHS tapes on a given day and only spending $2.00.  Most of the movies I bought were in the 25 cent bin and they were particularly old horror movies.

One of the movies was Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3.  The movie is not that good/memorable, but Ill never forget the box that the tape came in.

One thing that stuck out to me on the box:
In the top corner, it stated "The Most Controversial Horror Film Ever".
These 6 words were the deciding factor in what made me say "I had to have it".

The lesson(s):  

Written words can be powerful.  

They can change how someone perceives a product in 1 second.  

But, be leery about any movie that is in the same bin as "Good burger".


This is just one of many, many examples of how the the right words have altered my thinking.  However, there are many cases in which the right words have lead me to the wrong product.

At GoNextWorld, we will not let that happen.  Come August,  when you see our product, you will know that the phrase "Keep Moving Forward" is extremely powerful....  but our product takes it even one step further.


You will not see it in the 25 cent bin...
