the flames are stunning, the cameras running...

The big day is almost here.  Twenty years from now, when your children pull out their IPAD 7's  in their 3rd Grade history class, they will be able to research and look back on the significant events that took place on August 1st:

1876 - Colorado becomes 38th state
1941 - The first Jeep is produced
1960 - Aretha Franklin's 1st recording session

and now...

2012 - GoNextWorld goes Card-less.  Google offers them Ninety three dollars to buy the company, but is rejected.

As it draws closer and closer,  we are able to see that a soft roll-out is imperative.  After speaking with a person that has been there and done that many times before, we know it is in the best interest of the company to take it slow. We will not be including all of the bells and whistles. However, it is also in the best interest of the company and is EXTREMELY important that we hit that date for the essentials.

To the consumer, they will never really know a difference.  The mobile website, basic website, and ease of purchases will be glorious.  To purchase ANYTHING, the consumer only has to tap 3 buttons on their phone...that is all.  No typing, no scrolling, no scanning.  It's going to change how people shop.

The updates, the changes, and additions will come very soon after the launch.  To attract the businesses and to consistently take it one step further in regards to look, feel, and functionality is an art that we hope to master.

Like I said, it is EXTREMELY important that we hit that date.  It goes against instinct to hold something back, but its all for the greater good.

Patience is a virtue, but too much patience will get you killed.

Due to the recent popularity of the zombies, here is a great analogy:
If a zombie was walking towards you, what would you do?

A. Unload all of your bullets into it at once, leaving no ammunition for the next one (This is what most people would do)

B.  Wait till it gets within arms length, in attempt to make it Zombie Kill of the Week (This is what I would have done in the past)

C.   One bullet, from a distance.  Get the job done successfully and move on to the next one.

From watching a ton of movies, I know the answer is C.

August 1 - we are gonna take our shot.
