far away eyes...

Years ago, I would go to work everyday to a place that had no unity among the employees.  The highlight of many people's day was their smoke break or their lunch break.  As a result, people would come and go quickly.  Besides the money, there were few things worth staying for.  I saw first hand that this affected the outcome drastically.  The company struggled to grow because most of the team simply did not care if it grew or stayed right where it was at.  It felt like a bunch of strangers coming together for 8 hours a day to a place far away from home.  Nothing more.

At GoNextWorld, we will not let that happen.

Yesterday,  as I was putting together information for the new website, I heard the tech team cheering, jumping, and clapping in the other room.  At first, I thought they were watching re-runs of Double Dare.  I found out there was a big breakthrough in regards to the new reports.  The changes were beautiful.  We were one step closer to the look and feel of what you see on CNBC stock reporting.  To hear the excitement from the team is incredible.  There is no feeling like it.

In preparation for the soft roll-out in August, there are going to be many battles.  Its days like yesterday and the day before,  that you realize that we are really onto something that will take us far....But it still feels like HOME the entire way...
