Chapter 3 of GoNextWorld History (available on New Website August 1, 2012)
After many ups and downs, GoNextWorld was able to get the company
rolling out of a hallway in Mount Washington, Pittsburgh VIA a Membership Card
Program. With the help of 40 interns
from Duquesne University and many people, they were able to sign on 40
businesses and 2,000 members.
Along their path, they met a man named Scott Slater – a man that has
done-it-all already. As an avid pilot,
experienced sound technician, and top of the line computer programmer, Scott
would change GoNextWorld forever.
In January of 2012, these four men decided to make GoNextWorld a
card-less program. This new system
will make it available for anyone, anywhere to join the movement…and to
Go-Next-World. They set a date. It was known as Phase 2 and it took take
place on August 1, 2012.
