GoNextWorld’s history involves fake wedding receptions, ski
trips to New York, a Party Bus with GPS tracking, and a list of other amazing
adventures…ALL BEFORE IT EVEN LAUNCHED.
The domain “GoNextWorld.com” launched on February 24, 2011
on a cold winter night at midnight. Some
believe the idea started in 2009 at a real wedding in Erie, but the ingredients
actually started to come together about 6 years earlier. In 2003, Co-Founders Mike Fallat and John
Donovan sat around a fire at a place known as “Camp Serious” when they formed
their unwritten partnership for the future.
Upon graduation from college, they formed Next World
Entertainment – A company that organized adventure trips and events for large
amounts of people (a Google search of synonyms for the word “Paradise” led them
to “Next World”).
They
realized it was time to adjust the business plan when they had to purchase their
4th piece of furniture for a hotel.
