An Irish Proverb...

May you have the hindsight to know where you've been
the foresight to know where you're going
and the insight to know when you're going too far.
 -Irish Proverb

Many businesses start out the same way - They open a business, sell a great product/service, advertise as much as they can afford and hope it works out for the best.  I've worked for a bunch of different types of businesses and there was one thing they never knew - What was actually bringing these people to their business.  This would be very important to know of their first timers, but it was also true for their repeat customers.  The businesses could assume that it was their quality, or their prices, or their advertising, facebook pictures of their dog, or word of mouth...but they could never be sure.

In addition, they never knew if their clientele was increasing or decreasing.  Sure, if they had a rewards program their customers actually used, they could gauge an estimate, but what about the other 90% of people that did not join their program?

What if you could track everything?  And what if you could track everything with extreme ease and no hassle? And what if you were able to make better business decisions because of that?  And what if your sales increased directly and indirectly because of your decisions?

That would be paradise, right?
