Imagine you are at your favorite restaurant. You order a few burgers and tall glass of chocolate milk. After a wonderful meal, you ask the waitress for the check. Within minutes, she brings you the check. You hand her your Discover Credit Card to pay for it. Then you tell her you are a Next World Member (or she asks you if you are one). She then responds "oh, that's great, GoNextWorld - their mascot is the cutest! I'll be right back."
She promptly brings back your credit card and you proceed onto your next daily adventure.
So what just happened?
Because you used a Discover Card, you automatically received 5% cashback. Because you said you were a Next World Member, you received 3% back onto your Next World Account. If that business had a rewards program, you would have received something else too. GoNextWorld rewarded you with 3% back, so you can use that money towards that business again sometime in the future (maybe to even talk dogs with the waitress) or towards another participating business. Your favorite business was able to find out, via GoNextWorld, if you were a first time customer, repeat customer, a unique customer that week/month, and capture many other very cool pieces of data that can help them in ways you wouldn't even believe. Yep, nothing to swipe, nothing to scan, and you had to pay them before you ever would receive any benefit, ultimately giving truly accurate data - things that businesses love.
-When I'm home, which is not often, I like to watch the Stanley Cup Finals. Try watching a game WITHOUT seeing a Discover logo somewhere in a commercial or during the broadcast. It cant be done. Someday soon, I want our logo right next to theirs. If you are a customer, imagine getting at least 8% back from every purchase. If you own a business, imagine knowing everything about whether or not you making progress when it comes to your customers. The Next World - the only thing that is certain in your future. Go.
keep moving forward,
Mike
