The Fire...

One of my fondest memories of Summer is the smell of a fire/cookout.  It always reminds me of the freedom we always felt once school ended.  Men and women gaze upon a fire like they are watching their favorite episode of American Gladiators.  Whenever there is a fire, people migrate to it.  It's a fascinating phenomenon.

Fires can be so simple and soothing, but if wielded in a certain fashion, it can be a serious, unstoppable force.

Today, we sat around our fire. It wasnt outside and we did not have air condition turned on, but the smell of fire was as strong as ever.  Its technically not summer yet, but it sure feels like freedom.
